The newly drilled well not only supplies the hospital, but also the adjacent school center.
The hospital extension can now be supplied with fresh water and is scheduled to be put into operation in 2024.
The Kolanya Health Center Kenya has been in urgent need of renovation and expansion for many years in order to be able to provide the residents and those in neighboring communities with adequate medical care.The clinic is not sufficiently equipped and offers hardly any space, especially for pregnant women and mothers with children. Therefore, the clinic management decided to expand the health center.
However, one of the main problems is the water supply. Without running and clean water - no one can get healthy. Thanks to a generous donation, we have now been able to successfully drill a well. The joy there was huge!
We are now looking positively into 2024:
Thanks to expected material donations from Swiss hospitals and care facilities, we can supply important medical supplies for the clinic expansion.
However, in order to cover the costs (transport, etc.) of around CHF 15,000, we urgently need your financial support.
